Waters

Making waters is a simple solution to dressing your candles, or for anointing. This is a viable solution when you dont have the money to get oils or havent mastered the art of making them.

I have several waters on my altar right now the easiest to collect is thunder water. Thunder water is collected during a thunder storm and is charged by it, if you are like me you feel particularly exilerated by thunder storms.

Another easy one although it is not often you will be able to get it is Blue moon water, the blue moon because it is the full moon twice a month is excellent for divinations, connection with the goddess as well as all the things that the full moon is good for x2.

Rose water and I should probably point out at this point if you are going to make waters with herbs it is better that the herb be alive for the fullest result. Rose water is rose petals left in a jar filled with water for about a month. Good for a perfume as well as love and friendship spells.


These are just the waters I have on my altar at the present moment. If you requre a recipie for any other water please feel free to ask.

It hardly ever rains here let alone thunders :/

I know you said for dressing candles and anointing.. what else can these be used for?

I have been thinking on this or a couple of days and other than Candle dressing, Anointing, Baths, floor washes and other potions I really cant think of anything else
