We don't discus much of Greek gods because i don't know much about them...but here is the most recent i learned on.
Pan, in Greek religion and mythology, is the companion of the nymphs, god of shepherds and flocks, of mountain wilds, hunting and rustic music. His name originates within the Greek language, from the word paein, meaning "to pasture". He has the hindquarters, legs, and horns of a goat, in the same manner as a faun or satyr. With his homeland in rustic Arcadia, he is recognized as the god of fields, groves, and wooded glens; because of this, Pan is connected to fertility and the season of spring.
In 1933, the Egyptologist Margaret Murray published the book, The God of the Witches, in which she theorized that Pan was merely one form of a horned god who was worshiped across Europe by a witch-cult. This theory influenced the Neopagan notion of the Horned God, as an archetype of male virility and sexuality. In Wicca, the archetype of the Horned God is highly important, as represented by such deities as the Celtic Cernunnos, Indian Pashupati and Pan.
Greek mythology was by far my favorite study in school. The power of the Greek gods were un-canny and un-believable. I know a little about Persephone, Hades, Hera,Zeus Aries, Aphrodite, and a few other greek gods and goddesses if anyone wants to know. The thing here is, though I know this much, I really would like for someone to teach me more about the spirits and/or gods of Voodoo.

There are many fertility and sexually charged Loa of Voodoo, the reason being as in all religion and mythology adapted by human beings is fertility is not only only important for our enjoyment and the giving birth of children, but also the fertility of crops.
I also took Greek mythology in school, i just got mad and left because my teacher didn't know anything or if she did she was sugar coating thing.
As for tanks post....its said some of the greatest cultures worshiped gods to make it rain. One of the largest is several Indian tribes. They needed the rain to grow there plants and survive the nasty winters.
Maybe I overlooked it , but if we don't already have this in our book, then I think we should add to the book , a list of deites, and or Loa . We all knows the importance of having this knowledge and knowledge in itself is power.
i know a good deal of the greek gods and their roman counter parts, along with several of their forms and stories of the min ones and the demi gods along with most creatures

Greek gods and their roman counter parts have always been a huge interest in mine. Maybe we should discuss this further since a few of us have such an interest?
