I am usually house hopping with my youngest but this year I am unsure of it as I am looking for a new job and they may have me work. If not then I will be celebrating alone as usual as I am a solitary and not many around here know that I am. There are others in town but as I live in the country it is hard to connect with them and our town has so many churches of christianity that you can practical jump from one to another without touching the grass (It feels like this anyway). I woulds have to say in this small town there are maybe close to 20 in the area, yeah I know a bit much I would say. So it would be difficult, unless we want to start issues with all the churches, to do something public and sence most are in town they can not do much other then throw halloween parties. I do not want to throw a Party I want to celebrate my holiday, so I tend to be by myself. (this usually brings up the question about the rest of my family. I allow them to choose their own path and I do not discriminate with what they have chosen and I do not push mine upon them. My daughter is searching out her path and my boys are like their father who just keep to themselves. My youngest is unsure but right now his world is school, friends, and video games.)

well Mabon is first, and i'm busy baking and decorating lol, but Samhain is one of my favourite holidays. [even as a kid i adored Halloween, the history and the candy lol] for Samhain my coven comes to my house. we use to rotate but everyones moved but me, so it's easier to come to my house. i have a meal with some extra places set for my spirit friends, and my coven used the Ouija Board to speak with some of our spirit friends, but it's not as grand as when we were younger. Samhain is one of the few holidays where we don't have a meal together, we'll bring snacks, but we don't have a sit down meal. we have our circle and that's about it now. we do more on Yule actually, Samhain is a somber affair for my coven.

I will probably sit on the grass in my backyard and mediate, listening to the last of the birds chirping and the last bit of green grass.(that is if it doesn't snow by then)

Well, every halloween, I barely sleep, so I can be up all night. I generally take the kids trick or treating, then I go and do a seance and I honour all of the people who died. I generally attract spirits a lot, so by halloween, it is wicked awesome.
