Tasseography

Have anyone tried this form of divination? It seems interesting, but I had not done it before since I usually stick to tarot & oracle cards.
If you practice this form of divination, what is your experience in it? And how did it got you interested? And any tips for people who are interested in studying it.

That's just a big word that is used for tea leaf reading, but I have played around using the sediment found at the bottom of fermented wine. I don't do it often. I became a bit interested as it is done on the Irish side of the family, I have even seen Irish immigrants that are Catholic do it.
I don't really have any tips. When the liquid is pored out, just look at the pictures that may be formed. It's your interpretation of the pictures or signs you see. If you want, you can look up info on symbolism to give you a general understanding of what they could mean, but if you think it's something different than what you read, go with your own thoughts.

Tasseography or tasseomancy is still the same word for tea leaf reading but I did not use tea leaf due to a oracle deck called "Tea Leaf Fortune Cards."

The only thing I did know that you can use it with tea leaf or with coffee, but I had no idea you can use it with wine. It makes me think in what other beverage can you use it for. Makes me want to experiment! XD

I had tried it with tea leaf and so far I got a clear picture of a snake, an arrow, an umbrella, a beetle, and a fish. At first I had trouble looking at the beetle, but than I had to examine in all angles and voila it was a beetle.

I did had to check the tasseomancy book, but it was a lot of fun.

The only tip I can tip of is that you really have to examine all the angles of the cup to get a clear picture. :D
