Runes

Does anyone know how to read them and then tell someone fortune?

I've read of a bunch of ways to read rune stones. You generally have them in a bag and you can kind of use them like tarot cards and use tarot lay outs. Each rune stands for/symbolizes a different thing. If you don't use a tarot layout you can case them on a white cloth that has a circle on it. The ones in the center are the present I think, and as you go out toward the dge of the circle they represent things more towards the future?

In that method the ones that land right side up are read as their true meaning, and the ones that land upside down are read as the opposite of their meaning. Some may land on top of each other or cross over, which means that one influences the other. I forget how to read the ones that land outside of the circle. They are either disregarded or are read as things that are working against you? I think? I'm sorry its been a while. I'm kind of fuzzy. I made my set of runes with popsicle sticks.

If you're giving someone else a reading you may want to have them fish the runes out of the bag or cast them on the table themselves. "Shuffle" the runes by shaking the bag. You have the other person touch them so the runes can kind of get a little in tune with the persons energy.
