tarot cards

I'm interested in learning to read tarot cards. Is there a deck that is best for newbies and any advice

Starting out with a deck rich with imagery and detail might be a good idea - it can help you cement all the different card meanings, associations, etc. Also, studying one card at a time and keeping notes and experiences with them is a great way to prevent yourself from being overwhelmed, and it's a great way to grow yourself in your studies. You'll probably want to look for a tarot kit, which will include a deck and then a little handbook with background information. Aaeclecic Tarot is a good site to look around and see what's out there - they've got different categories and descriptions and reviews for decks. I wouldn't recommend buying anything straight off the bat from them though - if you see a deck you like, do some price comparison shopping. I typically find the same items for cheaper elsewhere. Biddy Tarot is a lovely resource for learning general card meanings as well.

KristalynAB2 - your question isn't really in line with the topic of this thread. Also, tarot would not be a realistic solution to the answer you're looking for. A DNA test or other medical examination would be better suited for determining that kind of thing.
