Do you have grounds to say people's belief is absurd? Some believe, others don't, it doesn't give you or anyone the right to call someone/something absurd, especially when you do not back up your statement with some type of facts.

There are various fortune telling methods. Most [if not all] can be done by the person asking the question. You should not pay for a 'psychic reading' for a number of reasons, but for fun, a way to ease your mind or make a choice, it's harmless. The future is always changing, but when someone is lost, a reading can help calm and direct them.

You didn't get my word nekoshema. I didn't say as a whole. I said there is no way for online fortune telling. It'z illogical to click on a link and see what is in ur fate.

The only reason I misunderstood you was because you didn't specify it was online. You titled it 'absurd reading' and proceeded to not specify with your sentence fragment. Next time explain in full or don't post.

If you're referring to Mora here on this site of course it is ridiculous. It clearly says it is for entertainment purposes only. No computer-generate fortune-telling program is going to give you an accurate reading.

Well actually no she didn't missunderstand, your original post said you find it totally absurd, thus implying the whole of it to be such.
If you read ask moira section you will see that it is clearly documented about how it works,so it's not like your being tricked.
