My friend and i have an interested in witchcraft........we have been studying together for 8 months now.But one day my friend ask me if it possible for a person who have asian culture to studying witchcraft cuz he's asian so he's wondering should he studying witchcraft in asian way or european way????thank you
Sometimes it is good to learn about a craft associated with someone ancestral roots. The asian culture is very ancestor oriented. To learn about his roots could to provide a sense of identity and insight with its wisdom. Not all traditions are the same and each has its own sets of beliefs, superstitions and practices.

Race has nothing to do with practice, he should study in a way that feels most comfortable to him. As Brysing said, Witchcraft has many names but in the end it's all part of the Craft.
Study both and continue to study what is more preferable.
Acupuncture, feng shui, onmyodo, yoga, alchemy, galdhr, seidhr, heka, hoodoo (which is not the same as voodoo), even urban and modern traditions such as chaos magick or psionics, all of those can have valuable information. There are others that I forget to mention. Study as much as you can, or study as much as you want to, which ever ones you want to.
Race is one's true identity. Or atleast we can say cultural identity in physical world. Race has been created by humans to ease the craft. What a person does may not be acceptable to the other. Perspective changes from person to person. And everyone is unique. Races have been created to aid in ones work and life. Anyone is free to choose which culture they wish to follow. If your friend feels more connected to European culture, then he must go for it if that is his hearts true desire. Personal interest is to be taken into account, not the property obtained through birth. Personal insterest matters since it is not with physical self we do magic, it is with higher self that we do magic, so listen to your heart and follow your interest
Race shouldn't have anything to do with what you believe, but yes there are Asain Traditions of witchcraft but he should practice whichever he is more interested in and believs most. Then again, it it possible to mix traditions and be an Eclectic Witch.
