Rune Magick Questions

I've always wanted to get into using Runes but I have gotten a bit confused with what runes to actually use and which ones are correct. I've seen sets of 24, 17, and even 28. Each one had different symbols but some shared the same symbols. Does anyone have any reliable resources or a page of Runes with meanings and the origins behind them that they can share? I really want to learn about Runes c:

I don't know of any books, unfortunately, but the different symbols and the length of a runic alphabet alters depending on the alphabet you are using.

The Elder Futhark runic alphabet is 24 characters long.
The Witches Runic Alphabet (modern in comparison) is 13 characters long.
The Anglo Saxon Runic Alphabet is 33 characters long
The Medeival Runic Alphabet has 27 characters.
The Younger Futhark Runic Alphabet has only 16 characters.
While the Dalecarlian Runes have anything up to 51 characters.

The length and runes of runic alphabets changes depending on which alphabet you choose, altough the most common are the Elder Futhark Runic Alphabet.

In a way, chaotic magic has an easy way to teach all of that.
