When people talk about being able to choose your own path, what do they mean by that? It's been a bit confusing to me lately! Thank you

There are many different paths. You can choose which one you wan to follow.
Wicca
Norse
Vodou
Hoodoo
Christianity
Islam
Druidry
Judaism
Hellenism
Hindu
Hermetics
Buddhism
Satanism
and the list goes one

You can take any aspects of any path and make it your own hybrid. And you can follow as many as you'd like. For example I practice magick outside of religion yet I use elements of Wicca, Druidry, and a few others in my path.
