Voodoo Dolls?

Hi, I was wondering if Voodoo Dolls were real? If they are, how do you use them? And also, do they work? Thanks!

Poppets are real. They can be made from scrap fabric. They are often used to symbolize the person you are casting a spell on in sympathetic magic.

There aren't really any "Voodoo dolls" in the Hollywood sense, but as stated above, yes, there are poppets. There are also dolls that represent the spirits Voodooists work with that they use to draw power from. This can be done by sticking nails or pins into the doll, hence creating the myth of the "Voodoo doll."
