what do most people actually do while in the astral projecting? I'm sorry i'm a bit of a newbie on the subject and am curious also how are you able to get back into your body afterwords?

Some people AP to explore, or meet entities. Some people go to seek guidance or information.

It is my belief that during astral projection, one does not actually leave their body. The conscious experience is extended to the other location. That perfectly explains why tales of people getting 'stuck' in the astral plane are all bunk, and why, when interrupted, a person basically wakes out of the state and becomes present again.

Of course there are many beliefs about astral projection and other types of travel and journeying. My opinion is not the end-all information.
