Tears of vengence

I need help understanding the ending of this spell...
If it says "Extinguish Candle" does it mean turn off flame & if so what is done with the candle afterwards or is it turned back on & when... Please help

If it doesn't specify, I'd personally just snuff them out and keep them to reuse again, if you plan on doing the same or similar spell at a later date.
