Yeah so I need answers

Alright alright, I'm probably going to offend someone here no matter how I mince words but unlike most despite my basically nonexistent tact I at least know how to ask what questions need to be asked and say what needs to be said. So! This'll be a bit of a lengthy article.

Firstly here's where I fit in. So I came for answers. I have premonitions. Small visions of the future that are only a few seconds in length when I dream sometimes, and seem to play in the dream on autopilot. I don't know they're premonitions until the event comes to pass but it's never anything important, BUT it doesn't change the fact my brain is basically bending the laws of time and space and defying all known laws of biology and astrophysics, so I think wanting to know why my brain warps space time every few months at random is a good enough reason to want answers. And delving into religion a bit, over the past two years I have betrayed and rendered homeless several times, and every single time I have prayed, all 13(or 14?) times, they have been answered in weeks, days, and even hours on a couple occasions. So I think that might be something I'd want to look into also. Not only for the sheer number of times it has happened but also because of the fact I don't pray to anyone in particular, I simply pray, and mean what I say. And then seemingly out of nowhere a miracle on a silver platter is pulled out of some divine being's ass and presented to me, I have literally had total strangers I had no connection to offer me housing because they said they felt it was the right thing to do, or just shrug and say "I dunno you seem like a nice guy I guess".

Second I did a little reading pop quiz from an ad here just for the lols(Laughs) about a 1-10 rating of my magic ability(I got a 4/10 by the way. Yay I guess?) and I was freaked out a bit about how accurately it not only described my personality, but also predicted I had premonitions, so that alone was enough to get me to give this site credit. Something's up here, even if a lot of it is bollocks.

Third, and the main reason I'm posting this, but....are the people here serious? I mean I know this is a serious magic casting site, but at the same time all I keep seeing is love potions, grow wings, transmogrification, werewolves, I mean I won't scoff. If it exists it exists, and although at least 98% is just folks spouting nonsense, I'd like to see a werewolf or dragon before I die, seriously. I mean, don't get me wrong. I certainly believe if there's a way to make a potion for someone to forcibly fall in love with you, then by all means I'm more than willing to give up some hair or a blood sample for a potion that forces me to understand and wrap my head around how these things exist and how they exist in the way they do without being proven real. Dragons as far as I'm concerned is mythos, and werewolves along with them. But really if we got any shapeshifters or werewolves here please IM me, I'll pay for a night out, transportation, whatever else if you'll show me whatever it is you got going on there. I mean I don't care about power, I don't care about bettering myself through the use of magic, and by all means I'm only 20 but I think my sex drive is broken, so I could care less about enhancements through wiccan arts or whatever, I don't have anyone to impress. No, my reason for wanting to know is knowledge and experience, and personal knowledge and experience at that. What I find out I'll be keeping a lid on and treasuring as something that I experienced as a rare treat of life. I mean if I see someone turn into a werewolf and they rip my throat out whatever, I got to see a werewolf before I died! I made my peace long ago, and now my only goal is seeing all the little known stuff in life and archiving it in my memory. But seriously-and I mean seriously-are these things like an actual thing?

Again I don't mean to scoff or poke fun but since these things, these weather control spells and potions and grow wings spells and mythical creatures with elements are apparently a thing on here, I'd kinda like to know because not knowing just drives me nuts.

Also for any tarot card readers or fortune tellers message me please. I imagine if anyone can explain premonitions it'd be you lot.

Anyway sorry for inevitably offending whoever I do, feel free to send me hate. I don't mean to be rude, but I'm stepping in with a big 'ol brick of salt because of how outlandish it all is. Seeing may be believing, but in my book experiencing is knowing. And knowing is all I really want to do.

Although this site contains many hundreds of genuine practitioners, because anyone can post a spell regardless of their knowledge there can be a lot of fluff spells and fantasy to sift through, generally speaking, if it sounds way too good to be true, it likely is fake.

Magick cannot do the impossible, it has to work alongside natural laws.

Creatures like dragons are believed to be real sprititually by a lot of practitoners, they are not real physical beings but spiritual and astral, you will find this with a lot of magickal creatures, such as the fae. They aren't physical beings but rather, spiritual.

Shapeshifters are not real, anyone claiming to be anything more than human is telling a far fetched fantasy, we are human and we always will be but we are able to go some way to altering the world around us through spells, ritual and magickal practice.

A good place to start, if you haven't already is the pinned posts in the general forum, there are some great posts that can help shed some light on what can and cannot be done through magick and associated workings. The more you learn, the easier it will be to identify real from fantasy.

Hm....I don't suppose you can direct me to an article on this...."astral plane", could you? I've heard of it but I don't really get it. Of course I'll take this time to look for it myself but any proper direction is very much appreciated. Also, thanks for letting me know! Glad to know my precautionary beliefs were proven correct.

Premonitions and precognitive dreams really do not have any explanation. Some people choose to work with them, though often people don't know they've had a premonition until the event actually happens.

This happened with me recently. I had an especially vivid dream of a very mundane moment, and it happened today. I just realized that I had dreamed that exact moment at some point in the fairly recent past (a few weeks or so). It's a bit baffling and sometimes disorienting, as the dream may take a slightly different path, and I find myself anticipating something which does not happen.

There are some attempted explanations from the scientific community, basically boiling down to a bit of brain lag, and claiming that when someone experiences what they believe to be a precognitive event, that their brain is simply catching up. But many people who experience this also report that they can recall when they had a dream, vision, or other precognitive experience, some time before its fulfilling event.

As for the astral plane, it is basically -- and this varies greatly based on personal belief and experience -- an aspect of the non-physical world, as filtered through the subconscious mind.

I agree about the "Brain lag" not being a valid point. I remember having the dream I just had a premonition about today some months before. It's strange, I am having these premonitions a lot more than a few months ago. The last time I experienced one about 3 weeks ago it was two in two days, both around the same time each day! Anyway I'll see what I can figure out about premonitions. And this "Astral plane", I'm hoping to some extent it can help me find closure. Again, thanks for the information!

It can be hard to read through the site and weed through to find the actually helpful information versus the fantastical elements of the other information. Both are here.

I tend to view premonition dreams as the universe`s way of giving you a heads up on something that is to come, but there could very well be other explanations as well.

You might want to keep in mind that this website is mostly made up of others who want answers, just like you. :) Because of that, we have many ideas, but nothing really, truly, concrete. Although some will try to convince you that their beliefs are as solid as science.

The 'astral plane' is bvasically a plane of existence which involves a collection of your thought-waves, which contain dreams, thoughts, intent, desires, emotions, etc. More importantly and relevantly to your post, you can recieve images, thoughts, etc, from your own subconscious mind through the energy of the astral plane.

Let's get a couple of things straight. When I say energy I mean a sort of bio-electricity and magnetism, like what your nervous system uses with regards to your neurons. That part is physical. However there are frequencies of this type of energy which are not measurable as "electricity" per say, but it still connects to rthese parts of your body, or can. This is the explanation behind the "soul". An etheric - electric entity - you - controlling your body like a vehicle. Now, your subconscious is constantly analysing information. That information includes patterns regarding information in the energy wavelengths. remember it is full of intents etc. Well, that intent is from everyone around you. Your subconscious can process this information - along with the physical knowledge and experience you gain through your life - and assimilate it all into potential 'paths' that you will likely reach in your future. You may keep in mind as well, it is events like this which cause many people to be aware that 'more' even exists. more than just.. your physical life, I mean. It may also be a mechanism to make you... question things. But really that is just a guess on my part.

Your experiences are really quite wonderful and amazing, and I might have a few points regarding some other stuff you said... other than about the premonitions. Praying, for instance. Remember what I said about intent in the astral plain? Well.... we are all sensitive to it on a subconscious level. When you pray for something like help... you are sending your intent out in order to achieve a purpose. Other people can, even if they don't realize it, feel that to an extent and they may be more inclined to provide you aid when they do. In addition to this, I believe that there are 'souls', like you and me, electric consciousnesses, who do not currently control a body. Easy to figure if you consider the deceased or unborn, right? Well, not only we we see all of this going on... but they do too. And they see it a *lot better* than we do. They can help direct the energy in a meaningful way to assist you, if they see fit to do so.
