I agree that Feverfew has not anecdotal evidence to indicate that it may be helpful in preventing migraines or at least reducing their frequency. You can read more about it at https://www.migrainetrust.org/living-with-migraine/treatments/feverfew/

Before starting on Feverfew, especially if you are already on medications for migraines, discuss it with your neurologist to make certain that there won't be any potential for bad interactions between the Feverfew and whatever medications you might be taking.

Alternatively, discuss your migraines, the medications you are taking, and any possible herbal alternatives with a certified herbalist. It can be risky to put your faith in responses from random strangers on a message board who may or may not be qualified to offer you sound advice on the subject.

Sorry, I certainly did not mean to come across as hostile. In fact, I was agreeing with everything you said, including being cautious about taking it with other medications.

If you are referring to my comment about not just taking recommendations to unknown strangers, I didn't mean you in particular. But in complex and stubborn medical conditions it is always wise to be sure you are talking to someone who is very familiar with your condition and with whatever treatments are proposed. Sometimes people suggest things that might be harmful in the specific case to which they are offering advice. That's all.

There isn't really a cure for chronic migraines herbs might help to thecertain extent but not forever until the body's system begins to pick up and becomes immune. I've found that magnetism really helps in the long run when it comes to physical pain. The thing is you'll have to study more about the magnetic therapy because magnets have both sides Positive and a Negative side. The positive side that would be south pole of the magnet which will help with the growth of any kind that would be bad since we don't need to make it worst but on the other side north pole ( negativeside) has the opposite effect. Also, I like to make a note to say away from EMFsthat gives off positive ions which also makes the growth of everything like sinuses anxiety headaches and depression. I know this is off topic from talking about herbs but this is my experiences and another alternative because all medicines and herbs have side effects after using them in long terms.

jeez, what Roseroot said wasn't even bad. It was just a suggestion along with lavender essential oil and where to place crystals, why's everyone ripping her a new one?
(btw wise fool no not all herbs have side effects in the long run)

Could be dietary? Diet and cheap branded drinks often have aspartame in them and people go for years with terrible symptoms all across the board of potential medical conditions because of it and don't realize it. Sucralose can do the same but with far fewer cases. In both cases it's a build up effect and just removing it from the diet can help.

Sleep deprivation, and lack of sunlight are two other possibilities I can think of off-hand, but without knowing your lifestyle particulars it's hard to nail down a potential cause or cure...Allergies are another possibility, but without other symptoms in addition it's unlikely, I suppose. But it's also nearly unheard of for people to be allergic to beef and I know a guy who is. Human body is a curiously fragile thing, but can recover astoundingly in the right conditions.

I hope you can find a source for the problem and a permanent solution.
