Spell rank glitch?

Hey, don't know if this is a glitch or not, but I've noticed a few times when I rank a spell down it goes up. I just ranked a one star spell at a one and when the page redressed it had 2 stars. [i also saw a post early from someone who claimed a spell had 2 stars, they downvoted it and it went up to 3 stars, so I voted it one and it went up to 4] thought I should let you know if this is a glitch.

It's addition. Each star vote increases the rating of a spell. There is, from what I can tell, no down voting. I mark all bad spells as spam, not sure that does any good however it seems to be the only option.

That is actually a much better idea Nord.

I tend to downvote and flag, but I've never seen it go up until recently. Also, some spells I'll vote 3 or 4 star and they will update to 3 or 4 star and not simply shoot up to 5. And there are other spells that are 1 star, I will vote 5, and won't budge, so I originally assumed it was basic math [4 one star rankings must mean this is a 4 star spell] but it doesn't always work, it's only some of the time.
