A question.

Is lucid dreaming a kind of dream where you are able to control a good portion of it? I feel like i am sounding dumb for asking, but i just needed to know so i can put an accurate term on my bio.

In the most basic sense, yes. Some will call it a lucid dream when they realize they are dreaming, although they are along for the ride, and not controlling anything. However, the ability to actively control the dream (or at least to control your own actions within the dream) is the more accepted definition.
