Altars

Hi everyone! How are you? I am hoping to get some activity going with some forum posts :)

What are on your altars? Are they dedicated to Jesus? Are we allowed to see a picture of it in your photos and granted access?

Unfortunately I don’t have an Altar right now, however I do have an icon of Sophia, the Goddess of Wisdom. The supplies I am hoping to get for my altar would be:

1. An icon of Jesus and/or God the Father

2. An Icon of Barbelo

3. An Icon of Sophia (already have this)

4. Statuettes of the 4 or seven Archangels

5. Rosary beads

6. Holy Water

7. Candles

8. A pentagram tablecloth

9. A coffee table (for the altar supplies)

10. Books: A book of the psalms, Archangels 101, The Holy Bible, my crystal Bible, Secrets of the Garden.

11. Incense

12. Prayer Cards, Meditation Cards, and Divination Cards such as Tarot.

Unfortunately with how the forums are set up, we can't attach photos. Mine has the following:

• A statuette of Brighid, goddess of fire
• A statuette of a mermaid from my coven sister
• a pentacle, chalice, athame (lapis letter opener) and wand
• Crucifix
• 2 white candles on either side of my bible
• feathers, crystals, candles, shells
• Cauldron
• Picture of a guardian angel from (had it since I was born)

I think there's a photo of it on my Trinitarian3 profile. There is also an article in our coven library about a Christian Witch altar

I just purchased some Catholic candles (the one with the pictures of Jesus and angels and etc on them). Im not a catholic but Imma use the candles.

Honestly, I don’t know why I didn’t think of an Athame or wand for my own altar. Those would be good additions to my future altar. Do you use the cauldron for alchemy?

I use my cauldron for my fire magic, actually :)
