Honey, a therapist goes along way. Depression Pills also helps too ^^

Don't need a spell, hun. I am a Suicide Survivor, and I've dealt with depression for a long time. Best thing to do is talk to your parents, and see someone. If you need help coping, just contacting me. I'm always around. ;)

in order for a spell like this to work you either need someone to do it to you or find another way. in order for a spell to work you must have mind over body and from you have said it sounds like you do not have this. try burning a lavender candle and using its forced calm to think about why you are depressed and so that you can solve it. often large depression is brought on because of you not knowing why you were depressed in the first place.

I helped someone with depression with guided visualization. If you would like to know the imagery I used, I will gladly tell you in pm. You have to find the source of this depression, what is triggering it. Then you need to work on remedying it within yourself. Someone to talk with is key. But it isn't about "woe is me" its about figuring out what is going on in your mind and finding the solution. No need for a therapist, there are free hotlines and then of course a network of friends and family is also important. Talk to them and let them know, they need to help motivate you and get you out of the house.

Please try to stay away from taking the easy way out and going for medication. Many anti-depressants can CAUSE suicide in people who were never originally capable. Anti-depressants can cause people not to feel fear and anxiety about death and danger, which can cause a slight thought of suicide to seem like a great idea with no ill feelings. There is always a cause for depression, either a mindframe, a memory, or a situation in our life. That needs to be addressed, not covered up with "happy pills".

Another key to conquering depression is action. Don't give into lazing around the house. Force yourself to get out there, or ask your friends to drag you places.

As for magick, meditation, visualization, and energy work, even using such things as yoga and tai chi is excellent for depression.

Sympathetic magick is best in regards to ritual work because mentally, it can help you to discard or let go of what is causing this depression. But the spell must be hand written because no one's reasons are the exact same.

Magick begins within ourselves, our minds. When we practice magick, we convince ourselves to "believe" something will happen, then focus on it and will it to happen. If we are successful in controling our minds and using it to manifest our goals, we can also successfully control our mind and emotions with the proper techniques. Magick is all about mastering full self control, control of thoughts, emotions, body, and spirit. It's a lot of hard work, but most self help is performed through nothing but meditation, visualization, and reflection. Research breathing techniques, chants (mantras), and gain inspiration! Most importantly gain motivation, because recognizing your have a problem is the first step, motivation/drive to conquer our negative emotions is the second step to recovery.

I think that I know a spell for your case. All you must do it to close your eyes, think about stars and the universe, and spell the words on your head very quiet(whispering):
"abiectum et felicitate sunt opposita: sed gaudium fortior".
After two ours, you will be out of depression.

i am depressed, and i dont think you need a spell. i have worked with my depression to the point where i feel hopeful a good day will come. and now i can do magic because of this. anyways, sometimes when you ask yourself why you are depressed, it makes you more depressed. so be careful. If this depression has to do with a lover, you need to talk to them.

if you plan on suicide, its not worth it. there is so much more, and you wouldnt want to leave all these people who love you, and make them cry for months over you. thats just not right. and they DO care. im not going to tell you suicide is selfish, but it is not your only option.
listen, i understand. i almost committed suicide, but what made me stop from putting those pills in my mouth was the realization that there is hope... there is always hope.

Ok. If you are suicidal, go and see a doctor immediately.

If not...herbs that can help: Hypericum (Available from health shops). If there is associated anxiety, you can start with chamomile, and move on to valerian if needed. Valerian can also help with associated sleep problems. Check with a medical practitioner.

Food that are high in tryptophan (which stimulates seretonin in the brain) are bananas, oats, milk and sugar. So, an oaty cerial with milk, bananas and sugar would be a good way to start the day.

It is hard to get motivated, but some exercise will help get your endorphines moving. Try something light like beginners yoga, walking, or some gentle swimming.

Other things you can do: Create a realistic routine, and stick to it. Try to talk about how you are feeling to someone impartial. Create disciplined sleep. Don't set yourself unrealistic targets. Reward yourself when you achieve something, even if it seems silly. Do something creative, and something new, each day. It doesn't matter how small, it is bigger than it seems, because living with depression is like living with a sack of coal on your back. Take responsibility for a living thing.

When you feel you are moving a bit better, think back on how you got here in the first place. Your life is rebelling about something. Be honest with yourself about what is good and bad for your wellbeing.

Make sure you cut out as many anti-life habits as you can, like junk food, alcohol, drugs etc. They don't help in the long term.

When you are ready, (be patient with yourself), you can start a new life. Learn techniques for coping with stress, like relaxation and meditation. Lastly, be sure to constantly program yourself positively, - "I am well", "I am successful", "I am loving, lovable, and loved". I truly wish you well. :)

Just a quick addition. If you are between the ages of 12-20, the symptoms you describe are completely normal for your age.

Wen you are blinded by depression, your only choice is to put your trust in those who will lead you through, - your loved ones. It is a leap of faith you have to take.

Something that helps me out just to add is that chicken contains tryptophan also it calms you, and helps manage your anxiety and scary thoughts .. Every Morn' I i prepare 1/3 cup-1/2 a cup of quick cooking oats its super fast I cut up half an apple, most of a banana, add cinnamon, honey and milk.. thanks for the info i didnt know that oats contained tryptophans..
