Im not trying to block them out, they are getting blocked out naturally without me even thinking, so i dont think a barrier would work on bringing them in lol, due to this *gift* i can not summon spirits so my studies on enochian magick has gone to waste, well i can summon but if i look at them *poof* they are gone trust me ive tried it both ways with eyes closed or opened and the closed one gave me results.

after what i have read here, and what knowledge i have, there are some who has powers in the back of their brain where the eyes are connectet to. energy channels through here and in your case it may be that it is reversed, it`s not the spirits who tap your energy but you who absorb their energy.
i have a similar problem but i found out that it was my rigth eye who absorbed energy. therefore i cover up my right eye whenever i summon a spirit.
i think in your case you should try to cast a reflection spell on a pair of sunglasses or similar and use them when you deal with spirits and other beings.

Yes i agree with both of you because i have this birthmark on my left eye..maybe that indicates that its only on my left eye. Dead- dreamer ive also have been thinking about what you said for a long time maybe i do send them back where they came from, and it may be scary them away because if someone has the power to do that with just eyes...thats a pretty stay away sign lol.
