The Soul wouldn't have made a mistake like that. Every life has a purpose, a lesson to be learned.

Guiselle, it's possible that you are meant to learn what it's like to be a male in this life. Your Soul might prefer to be a female in most lives, which could be why you would act feminine and not enjoy being male, but if you have never been a male before then the point in you being a male now is that you learn from it. Your Soul collects lessons from every life. That is why we reincarnate, to learn more.

Not entirely, the Soul can make a mistake as can the Spirit, but chances are he's in the body he has so he can learn what it's like to be a male. It doesn't mean he has to like it, it doesn't mean he has to enjoy it, it means that he has something to learn from it.
