Nicholas Flamel

the philosiphers stone is true and real -.- it is in fact common but what it is has been lost by time its like if iron was rare you would call it myth but it is there -.-

Okay, I understand where everyone is getting at, but still, immortality is still very special.

If it's common, Zarath, why is it called a myth?
If it is common then it is not rare.

I believe that he is real.

The books are my michael scott and they are thet secrets of the immortal nicholas flamel series. They are amazing books, there are three out and the fouth is coming out this year. If anyone wants to know more about the books, message me.

Anyways, I believe that he did find a secret to immortality, or at least elongated life. Like an earlier post said his grave was found empty. Supposedly, his wife Perenelle died and then I think it was 10 days later he died, but when people searched their graves, they were full of rocks and no sign of bodies. The two immortals had been reported being seen msny times after their "death". I read a thing where they were said to be seen by many people 40 years after they "died"

The last time I checked the site it said the next book would be coming out next year. I have the three that are out now, one of which already came out this year. The fourth book is dated to come out in 2010 though, or so I thought. I'll have to check again when my internet connection is better.

The fourth book comes out April 27th 2010, it is called The Necromancer

The books are as followed:

1st: The Alchemyst (already out)
2nd: The Magician (already out)
3rd: The Sorceress (already out)
4th: The Necromancer (released April 27th 2010)
5th: The Warlock (released May 2011)
6th: The Enchantress (released May 2012)

They are amazing books, combining magic and mythology, with tons of adventure and action. They are some of the best books I've read.

Flamel was definitely a real person and there is a large body of evidence that indicates that he was a powerful alchemist and mage. For one thing, his tomb was found to be empty, and sightings of him and his wife have occured sporadically for centuries. Trust me, he's legitimate. And stil alive.

I am going to have to agree with Drak. Flamel's body was never found, and neither was the book.

So the only reason he doesn't truly reveal he is alive is because that would cause hysteria around the world.
