Yeah it should be possible if both you and a person you are switching are willing and skilled enough.

Unfortunately required level of skill for it is on a level that makes this no more than one very big "What if" theory/discussion.

It is not possible. During Astral travel, one does not actually leave their body. They extend their consciousness. There are those who even insist that out of body experiences are not leaving one's body, but merely the same: one's conscious being extended, so to speak. I really don't have a better way of explaining it at the moment.
