Divinus, I can tell you from personal experience that sometimes it's for the best. I would have done the same thing. When you're stuck with a Priest who you feel cannot handle the position but there are no other sensible choices to follow, you occasionally have to promote one of your other accounts to the other position. Perhaps this is the result of a hidden policy of one taking over one of the adopted covens.

*hugs Divi* This wasn't something to be ashamed of, I've done it. I did the same thing for Council of Knowledge which turned out to be the best decision to make because later I ran into a very capable member who ended up being an also very capable co-priestess.
Sometimes plans don't turn out very successful, god knows we've all ran into bumps in the road, especially the leaders here on SoM who still give a crud about our covens. When something brings you down and ruins hard work, or ambition, you just have to keep in mind that you did with good intentions.

Who knows? Maybe the coven will end up in good hands regardless. :)
