Still a wiccan?

I am a wiccan and I completely understand what your saying. But also from my experience it does have many different cultures combined in it. There are exactly eight holidays in the wiccan religion (which have names that are usually celtic or germanic ) There are also certain pantheons that are in it, or that some may practise. I'm not trying to sound rude, I am just stating my opinion and my belief, also the dictionary's belief. In a way it has many religions combined in it ''an ye harm none do as ye will'' basically sums up every single one of the over religion's commandments into one. Also there is many solitary Wiccan's who follow the gods like the moon goddess or horned one, sometimes even the maiden,mother,and crone. Wicca is a religion, it has goals, a rede, a law, certain practices (gardnerian, dianic, eclectic, and so fourth) So since again I'm not trying to sound rude, but wicca is a religion but has many different people from many different cultures, and different gods. Oh and by the way, I didn't state that it was a ''free for all'' I stated it was a free earth based religion that is about you and your connection to nature and deity.

Also there is no one way in wicca and true wiccan's know that. There arerrules, ethics, laws, redes and so fourth, and you will find that in every religion. Wicca is an earth based religion, believer's in a goddess and a god, celebrates the cycles of the seasin 's/holidays/ and life how it is. Also Wicca is a free spirited path, if you feel more connected to the goddess who cares your still wiccan, if your closer to the god your still wiccan, just because someone says your wring, or no that's not right doesn't mean that your wrong. So devil if you follow the rules, ethics, and try to do the best you can your wicxan but you need to have a connection with both gods. If you don't your not wiccan you can be a dianic witch, or an eclectic witch. So just remember it's not what people say, it's about what you do, how you act, what you say, what you think, and your connection with the earth and the gods.


Here's a good Idea, pray every morning and night to the goddess and god asking them for guidance along your day. Here's a good prayer
