"A large number of Magical Practices cannot be supported by Science."
None of the above quotes are Magic; they are beliefs! Magic is fact! And is well supported by Science. Scientific Researchers are now doing exactly the same work as witches were doing for thousands of years! Seeking for new methods, new drugs, new cures.
(Of course they do not like the words witchcraft or magic! But they are doing the same work!)
Your post gave me pause and I thought about it for awhile. It is an interesting outlook I suppose.
I personally define Magic as a force that changes one thing to another. The force can be any force while the things that changes can be a energetic shift , mental shift , emotional shift , spiritual shift. physical shift and the list goes on and on and on.
With that in mind , what Scientist do can be considered "Magic" but they are almost only studying the physical shift , mental shift and physical shift with Scientfic Fields such as Physics, Chemistry, Psychology etc. Science only study these aspects.
Anyway , I am rambling but back to your post. I think most people's definition of Magic and Science differs a fair bit from yours.
It is quite hard for me to put my thoughts into words however I think the phrase I newly coined is somewhat appopriate. "Science is Magic but not all Magic is Science".
When most people think of Magic , they do not think of the obvious and mundane , AKA The Stuff Science Covered. The stuff I listed are usually thought of and considered as Magical Workings. I suppose it being called a Belief can also be accurate.
When people think of Magic , they usually include fields that Science have not covered or have yet to covered. I suppose these can be called Beliefs too I guess.
I do not know if I am making any sense with this post , the English Language being a somewhat Inadequate medium for my thoughts but I did my best with it.
but in my mind magic higher self lower self science they are just one . your just seperating it in your mind.
if science cant explain it. it doesnt mean it doesnt exist
its just that science is not yet capable to measure it
admit it that science is just starting to discover things that cant explain before
well this is just a partial info of it i intended to not disclosed all of it
well its ok its like eating our favorite food and suddenly
your mom or dad change the way they cook it do you just eat it right away?? or you will ask your mom or your dad that why they change it because you want the old way of cooking your favorite food? its just the same thing i am saying here
