There is no specific Satan in Aztec culture...many gods for many purposes....many underworld guardians and dieties but no Satan...Im calm have been calm just hate people talking aout of their a$$
in my opinion. hell is the hospital of the soul. if you do things which prevent your soul from moving on (sins etc) you go there to sort your soul out so you can do better next time round. think of the "devil" and "demons" as the doctors and ward attendants. they are teachers and scholars.
a necessary place for the growth of the soul.
im a geriatric nurse and i took care of a lawyer for over a year. When it came time for her to die, she was afraid because would cross over and come back to us. she would tell us that her room was on fire. She use to make comments about all the shady things she did as a lawyer.

I think hell can be experienced in many ways,for instance,some people believe that they asr destined to die and go to a place thats going to be torture for eternity if they dont act a certain way.So they become subject to a certain set of rules that cause them to live a life ,void of pleasure and happiness,and in doing that cause their own version of hell on earth.
Others are so narrow minded and arrogant that to think for a second that they could possibly be wrong is unthinkable.So they live a life filled with hate and stupidity,and that becomes hell to them.
I gues I fall into the group,That says hell is a real place,but its not failing to live up to a set of standards set by somone else thats going to get me there.I have my own moral compass.If I fail to follow it and do the things that I believe are wrong,and immoral.There comes a time for me to accept responsibility for those actions.Maybe for a short while,maybe forever?I hope to never find that part out,lol
Having said that,I have no problem with other views shared by other people.We are all trying to walk the same walk,and make it to the end,what road you take ,I really think doesnt matter as long as it gets you to your ultimate,place of happiness.
Heaven and hell are places that exist in the mind. I feel they are words to describe life right here right now. You are either in heaven or hell. I believe it is a choice you make as to where you are. If others what to drag you into their hell it is your choice if you are going to let them as well. You can see your life as heaven if you truly want to because you can do the best with what god has given to you or you can not and be in hell. The choice is really up to you.
