hmm...karma is something inside of your mind that you make it happen. Like you doing something and feeling guilty, you do a spell then feel guilty. Niteshade is right, their are ways around karma. either
1. their must be a balancing force in the world and your doing your part
2. Be you doing good, their must be bad to keep your own personal balance.
3. what ever you do comes back three fold.

4. You are a drop in the bucket. If you do a spell on someone you might of been their karma coming back to them. The world isnot blalanced so their is no fear their. the three fold law is a guilt thing the wiccans have. is the three fold law good or bad? will it help you three fold or hurt you three fold? If hurt you then what is the point of agic if you cant use it freely?

^_^ believe on it or not does not change the fact that Karma might or might not be there.. ^_^ that is why is so great to be agnostic.. In any case, Karma is not a mind set, since doing nothing affects Karma, doing something affects Karma...
Karma is basically cause and effect... O_o so there is no around it. The three fold law is a wiccan mind set.. as the same goes with the ten times fold from Catholics (or christians) ^_^ it still affects you. Magick is no exception... it stills applied to it...
I am sorry to say but Karma, as many over used words are just to abstracts to grasp, unless you try to understand and be willing to see all the perspectives offer from different individuals..

Through the law of karma, the effects of ALL deeds actively effect EVERYTHING whether it be past, present or future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life, and the pain and joy it brings to themselves and others. Like Variados said it's cause and effect. If you believe in Karma you know there is no way around it. So if you beleive there is a way around karma then surly you don't really believe in it.
