Slightly confused. They claim if you don't masturbate you can cast spells better? I've never heard of that. It's quite the opposite. Sex magick is the ability to focus the energy-charged by the sex act and use it in spellcasting. Masturbation can be used the same way. As you build the energy, visualize your desired outcome, and at the climax, say the chant or state your intention, thus releasing the energy. [I also knew someone who would place crystals and magickal tools under his bed to charge with the energy generated]

I have to say I have never heard this from anyone or any resource. Sex magick is a practice in its own right, including both solitary and partnered interactions, people have very powerful results from this focused form of magickal practice, so this belief doesn't seem right at all, or sex magick wouldn't be a successful practice.

This sounds a lot like it comes from personal belief/opinion rather than a generally known fact.

I don’t think so. Like other people have mentioned sex magick. I’ve even heard of dressing candles for magick in bodily fluids expressed in such a way. I don’t think anyone who dressed a candle in such a way would then set it aside for that long.

Yeah, I don't think thats how it works. You should be able to do the usual things for magic, It shouldn't change your energy.

Okay so in Chinese philosophy and chi kung we talk about building ching. Ching is what you call the elixir of life. Sperm produces life. You have your lower Dan tien which which is right above your private area, basically the bottom of your gut. Monks breath through their lower Dan tian for power, but they do it by turning the ching into energy through breath work.

Yes there is sex magic and tantric sex which is different because it is practiced with care and you're sharing energy with a partner so I believe that's where the energy lies. Just my two cents.

I read a few of the others and do agree that sex magick is a useful thing to tap into. what this person may have meant regards certain paths. an example of this is that Blackwitchsavannah states that one should abstain from masturbation or sex for a week/day or multiple weeks leading up to calling a demon. there are some other practices that require abstaining but this is a personal thing that should be decided by you!
