Well Simon,you study from Books first,and play with the cards a little bit,practice with them get use to them,then you read a few more books while still practicing,Then you forget everything you learned and make your own reference book with your own meanings
After a while you come up with meanings of your own

Thanks. That'll be why it made sense to me. I put my own meanings to them. The pictures seemed as clear as they could be. She was new to it and had just read books etc. I haven't read books though so maybe what seemed obvious I mistook.

I had doubts about the Empr. but she managed to drop that one out the deck face up twice while shuffling. I interpreted that as reassurance hehe.
