Nose bleeds are fairly common and can be caused by all sorts of reasons. Such as irritation from allergies, colds, very cold or dry air, and bad sinus pressure. My nose used to bleed a lot for no apparent reason (most likely my sinuses). But I never drank my own blood from it.

Your nose can bleed periodically for numerous reasons, some as simplistic as it being too dry. If you are concerned about the nosebleed in particular, you should go see a doctor (probably an ENT, Ear Nose and Throat specialist). And, unless there was a significant amount of blood loss, there is nothing to be concerned about for the most part and you should refrain from drinking your own blood. Ingesting your blood can actually make you sick.

I used to get frequent bloody noses, after going to a docter I found out that it's because I have a blood vessel in the front of my vasal cavity that will bleed under the most basic pressure. I hade to have it cauterized to further prevent bloody noses.

Arren gross as that is, some people do drink their [or a donors] blood. If you do consume blood, only do it in small doses, large amounts can make you sick because humans are not designed to consume blood.

Could be thin blood vessels, could be something serious. I never had a nose bleed in my life until a year ago when I moved into my apartment, due to the dry air. If it's very frequent you should see a doctor, but you might consider a humidifier at least for your bedroom.

I'm pretty comfortable in saying that its not a magically occurring nose bleed. If you wanted to say you drank your own blood then please next time just come out and say it if you have to.
