Lots of people have lots of theories about doppelgangers, some people believe they are identical physical copies of themselves living around the world, and that if you meet them you will have terrible luck, they are seen as bad omens.

Some believe that they are identical physical copies of you (or more accurately you are a physical copy of an ancestor), they can be separated by hundreds of years and most people would never know, others believe this to simply be facial similarities due low genetic diversity, a lot of people.

There are some who take a more scientific approach who simply see them as people who have the same "pattern" of looks, there are only so many combinations of genes you can have for physical features, so it is very likely that somewhere in the world there is someone who looks just like you and would never know it.

Lemme rephrase, I was in my kitchen and I looked to the left and Im standing to my left.

What are you actually asking in this question? Is it what people know about doppelgangers? which was the original question.

Or are you asking people's interpretation of what you saw?

They are two very different questions and have two very different sets of answers.

I wanna know what there perspectives are on what I saw, and I apologize if I came wrong.

This is not meant to seem rude but are you sure it was simply not a reflective surface, were you tired, feverish, etc? There are lots of times where you can "see" youself other than magickal reasons.

What I saw was me standing like it was my boy over my house a few feet if not a foot standing like right there. Thats what I saw.

I am not asking what you saw, I am asking about your physical and mental state when you saw it.

I am not questioning whether or not you saw it, I am trying to rule out the mundane reasons why you saw it.

I thought there could of been a universal pagan explanation for what was going on, I guess not. I wasnt high... I wasnt drunk.. I did go to sleep afterwards, I dont remember if I was real tired.... I dont know if I was hungry.

Usually, there is no universal explanation to anything. Especially with things that have so many varying opinions, such as dopplegangers. Rule out mundane reasons, and study the idea behinddopplegangers a bit. That's probably the best we can give you.

Considering the vast array of pagan religions, there will unlikely be a universal interpretation of what seeing a double of one's self is; it would depend on the individual religion's philosophy.

Even then, there are many possibilities not related to religious philosophy which might explain seeing a double. Being very tired, for example, may lead to hypnogogic hallucination. It's when one's brain is so tired and (basically) begging for deep REM sleep that the hypocampus starts firing off random dream-like occurrences. I'm not saying it is what happened, but it is one of many possibilities.
