Fae Playing Tricks?

My dear brother,Probably what you've seen is the energy exchange between plants trees,Trees are probably the most evolved of all plants. There is a special relationship between trees and humans, as trees produce the oxygen that we need to breathe, while we exhale carbon dioxide which trees thrive on. You could say that our exhalation is their inhalation and vice versa! Trees are multidimensional beings. They have their roots deep down in the earth which signifies their connection to the Underworld. Their trunks and lower branches are in our world, the world of men, which in shamanic terms is called the Middle World

So what I was feeling was energy flowing past me?

Maybe, There is even a possibility that third eye is irritated and you have seen part of an Demon

How does that explain the tickly feeling?

According to folklore, yes, that does sound like you could have been in the presence of a Faery.
Some belief systems would have other explanations, though. To me, however, it does sound like Fae.

They're known for being a bit mischievous, so I certainly wouldn't put it past them.
