Well, seeing as how they're depicted like that from ancient myths, and those are the only things we have to go on in terms of the Physical Plain, it does seem unlikely. It also seems unlikely that they would go on without leaving any sort of evidence whatsoever, expecially now that humanity is where it's at right now. After all, we've managed to replicate the conditions of the Big Bang for study, I doubt we would miss something like Mermaids.
If you're going to say the reality is distorted, you need to say how it is distorted and actually show the truth and fatcs. Unless you do that, the above post is invalid and therefore uselesss.

No we havent, Im sure youre talking about the Large Hadron Collider, it hasnt been switched on yet, liar. We could also create a black hole too!
I doubt we would miss something like Mermaids.
Well yeah your doubts really dont benefit the discussion does it?
depicted like that from ancient myths
If you want to debunk something, learn about it. Thats not the place to look. Pathetic. Quote your sources too please
expecially now that humanity is where it's at right now.
And where is that? The place of paradise huh? Where our knowledge has been limited and science has become theology and a determent to belief and actual research? I think if we took that path we would be far back, if even close to where we are today.
Apologies, as far as I knew, it happened on Wednesday. Read the articles concerning the particle accelerator, and you will find that the concerns involving a black hole are unfounded.
What makes oyu think that humanity in all it's splendor and advancement would miss something in the water that you can touch and see? We have already mapped out just about the entire ocean floor.
The source I have of ancient myths and legends is the start of Mermaids. It is where they were first documeneted, and if they're true, they will look like that. Keep in mind, you have yet to quote your source of science denying Astral Projection.
We aren't at Paradise, but I never said we were. Technology is only going up, and trust me, science is much better than any form of theism. What does it supply for us in terms of truth? When it is closely looked at, a God isn't needed to form life. If we took the path to better scientific research, it would help in terms of medical science, forensic science, defense technology and many others, it depends on what we focus development on.

It was an official full-mode test, teehhh, the full run will begin next month. YOU read, or shall I quote it? The project developers themselves said the risks are uncertain, no matter what founded science there is. You want to abject to THEM now, the developers of the project and veterans of physics?
What makes oyu think that humanity in all it's splendor and advancement would miss something in the water that you can touch and see? We have already mapped out just about the entire ocean floor.
Youre so certain of the world are you? Youre so certain of what you learn in school right? Youre so certain of what you are told, no wonder your mind is limited and drilled shut. I never saw a so jolly boy like you. Scientists are Gods to you, and you can conclude the whole universe from a semester in science class right? Bhwahahahahahaha! Reality doesnt work this way. At-least not when youre trying to contest the paranormal.
The source I have of ancient myths and legends is the start of Mermaids.
I didnt ask for a reiteration of your implication, I asked for quoted sources, cant you list em?
It wouldn't be taught in school if it wasn't proven true, and you still haven't quoted your source on science denying Astral Projection. Kepe in mind I have never stated anything about scientists being gods, but their job is to literally explore reality and how it works without a bias. I will quote my own source when you wuote yours. Until then, it obviously isn't needed for me to, is it? Even if they aren't like that, does that somehow make them more likely to exist? I thought not. If you want a source, here you go:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mermaids
I still don't understand how the Particle Accelerator has anything to do with Mermaids, but if you want, look at the side bar and click on "Black hole production":
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Particle_accelerator
It says right there that it presents "no conceivable danger". Now, present the source you have to defend the statement you made involving science denying Astral Projection. There is a theory, the name I can't remember, that states something along the line of the certainty of several different dimensions or plains occupying the same space.
My mind will not be changed tonight, nor will anybody elses minds, so save it. Im going to bed, or to relax, whichever. And you can jump around claiming victory, as if I initiated myself into your game, whatever floats your boat.
So, you have no real source of your information regarding to Astral Porjection versus science? I thought so. That never had anything to do with Mermaids anyways. Now then, if you truly have a source for such a claim, then present the evidence or openly admit to being mistaken.
