There's no such thing as wizards and witches (depending on your definition) but as you describe, I think you mean Hollywood witches. Also, no such thing as demon slayer. You can't slay a demon. Can you slay a spirit? No.
If you describe witches as people who practice magick and work with energy, then it's not related to only a group of people and everyone is capable of using their life force. Nothing unusual.
The definition of a Witch is note at the below dictionary link. The difference is a Witch states he/she practices magic, while Catholics practice sympathetic magick when they light a candle in church, they do not consider it magick. many Irish Catholics don't perceive divination as a form of magick either for some reason.

But I do agree it does sound like you could have a gift. If this demonic thing happens again and it starts to bother You, you could try the lesser banishing ritual of the Pentagram.

But in the off chance it was of a supernatural nature, it sounds more like a ghost as Slicer pointed out earlier than that of a demon. I'd do a bit of investigating and I'm sure you'd find out who it was. But I'm fairly certain it wasn't a demon.
Thank you all, I'll look into it. The only person in my family I know of who has the sight is my grandmother, but it would make sense seeing as I got my songweaving ability from her. It could be nothing, you're right, but nevertheless it's caught my interest. She probably wasn't a demon, as she didn't seem too threatening, just...felt off somehow. The same happened to me. It was some old women walking down the sidewalk. She then turned to see me and her face was kind of unusual. Almost exactly like your describing it.
When i was a kid a used to listen to some voices too and no one in my family could hear them. Sounded like enochian to me. Then i could hear every little sound but tenfold. Like the rocks being crushed in the floor when someone is walking. It nearly made me go insane...is there anything like heightened astral hearing?
Everything that is odd or creepy isn't evil. The shifts in perception of time is something all spirits do because time doesn't exist across the veil. It looks strange to us but it's shouldn't alarm you. A spirit could have very well been with the woman, she herself could be a magick practitioner, or maybe she was something special trying to blend in. Why is it that we no longer experience the gods, the fae, and all those beings in legend? It isn't that they are gone, they're just very well hidden to those that don't have the sight.
Don't let it bother you, but do invest in a good amulet or ward. And learn the old ways of protection (not white light shields and positive thoughts). When you can identify things like that, you attract attention. And one day, you may see something truly malevolent and it will know you can see it. That's when the fun starts. :)
You definitely have a gift, but it may or may not be evil. Likewise, it may or may not be a demon. Many spirits besides demons can cause disturbances. You may want to divine about it, but first divine to be sure it is safe to divine about it (I've attracted negative attention before by not doing this.)
