First off, chemicals do not set in your joints unless: 1) You have osteoarthritis 2)You're a chronic drinker and/or smoker and/or 3) You have large chemical/toxin intake level. If you're older (like around 45), then i could be vertigo or something like that. It's more common. If you're overweight, you could have had nerve compression or you cut off your circulation causing it to rush all at once once the compression was released causing a passing out sensation.
Secondly, if would depend on how long you were sitting down for. If you were sitting down CROSSED LEGGED for more than half an hour, this could be the issue.
And the last part would be, it could be depletion. I got it a lot when I first started practicing magic. Especially on the ones the don't work and/or were out of my range. When I first tried to do a summoning spell (which didn't work because whoever wrote it didn't know anything about summoning and what it required) I literally couldn't walk. I fell down and I wasn't even sitting during the ritual. Your energy is still being expelled even if the spell isn't going to work. That's why it's best to just start easy and read as much as possible before you start practicing so you won't be foolish.
I'm not claiming these as fact (except for my personal experience). I'm simply stating what it could or could not be.

Regardless of age, sitting in a specific position can result in decreased bloodflow and/or lactic acid build up. I believe this was what SpiralDancer was referring to.

The age reference was to the possible cause being vertigo. But if lactic acid is the possible cause of passing out, try eating a lot of alkaline foods because it's possible that it's lactic acidosis
It is most likely something that has to do with blood flow, when you are in a seated position, or in a laying down position for a long period of time all the blood rests in an "unnatural" way in your body. And when you stand up from either position relatively fast the blood relocates itself/evens itself out in the body, this can make you feel lightheaded or even make you faint. Happens to me all the time, and I asked roughly 8 doctors about this when I was young. (The taller you are the more severe the outcome)
Plus, I just want to say that according to current scientific research teleportation is not entirely impossible. Quantum Mechanics shows us that it is possible for two things to exist simultaneously at different points in space at the same time, then collapse on one point in space. Meaning that things can and have been broken down and reassembled (collapsed on another point in space) almost instantly from one part of the planet to another. Scientist in some part of Asia or Europe have experimented on small atoms such as Hydrogen, and created successfully teleported the same atom to the opposite side of the planet.
thank you so much for the explanation ! ^^
I think that was it and also i'm really tall, at least for my age.
I'm 15 years old but i'm already 1m95.
Blessed be ! ^^
It is possible to pass out from emitting too much energy from oneself if that was your source of energy to try to achieve this spell. One of the first things you should learn is divination of some sort to figure out what will happen if you perform any magick. If you did pass out from a spell that is impossible, you are lucky you didn't kill yourself but rather passed out and broke your focus. Don't try things you aren't aware of!
building up a large amount of chi, and discharging it all at once is know to have side effects. such as nausea, dizziness, fatigue, and yes loss of conciseness. using a spell like teleport and failing can cause an energy drain and in extreme cases can lead to death. be careful. know what you are doing. don't let your reach exceed your grasp.
and before you all say how impossible this is, my sensei is the one who gave me this information. when I passed out during a training session. we where using chi based attacks and defense, I thought I was doing well then, I got a nose bleed with out being struck and blacked out on the floor. when I woke up bout an hour after that. in the hospital he was there with my mom, and we had a little chat about over using my chi. why it was dangerous. how I should have said something when it started to hurt, and should have stopped when I first got dizzy. how I was lucky I didn't have an aneurism or stroke out. doctors ran every neural scan and test they could think of but came up clueless as to the cause of my black out
