Do you fear death?

I welcome it gladly. I do not fear leaving this world. I will only go where my soul goes.

I honestly have to say I do fear Death. There are books and legends and beliefs and everything around it, which can help in soothing the mind and spirit, but to me it is unknown. And the unknown is scary as hell..

I do not fear death. to me, death is an old friend. When I see him, I will welcome him with open arms. Not to say Im gonna kill myself. No. Ill wait for him to return to me. Then we'll meet as old friends, and continue side by side into the unknown.

I don't fear death. It is part of our life cycle. Our bodies are just vessels, and if we choose to come back in a different life, we can. Death should also be viewed as a blessing. After the hard effort in this life, death shall sweep you away and bring you back those who you loved/missed or give you a different experience/path to walk upon.

Many people forget that the stuff in the world is just material things and there is no real reason to cling to it. Life should be about making the most of your experiences so that you feel that you have accomplished stuff/events in your life.

no because its just the beginning of your immortal afterlife

Nobody fears death, people only fear imagining death,

acpet it,(death) and move on.

I feel the same way , and I also believe in past lives

I don't fear death. I don't beleive in reincarnation. Reincarnation is where you come back as a new person. Unless you where cursed by a deity, reincarnation is not an option. I think death is natural. The more we fear it the more likely it comes to you. My grandma didn't fear death, so she lived longer. I think everyone dies at one point. I think reincarnation, is not a gift. As well as immortality is not a gift. Immortality means you could be torn in half cut into peices and got struck by lightening and you still wouldn't die. Death is a gift not a curse.

It is quite normal for the young to fear death. The old,like me, are resigned to it; just waiting for it to happen. Everyone wants to stay alive as long as possible. Not everyone grows old! Many die young, or are killed perhaps in War. But dying in old age is normal, and inevitable. It's not death we should be afraid of; it's HOW we die that we should be afraid of!
I am 81, and seriously ill; death has no fear for me!
