mods

I don't think this site needs more mods as they have more then needed. I do hope that things will get better.

With that being said, you should just concentrate on being a good member more than anything else. That means being helpful, posting sensibly with good grammar, no spamming or flaming, etc. Remember that being in a position of power does not automatically command respect. There are quite a few members who are well known and highly respected only because they are good members of the community and that is what you should be aiming at.

I would say that this topic is long gone over due to be discontinued.

Pet was simply saying that the mods have new rules.

Healer and Nordk broke mod rules and got removed. When they did not take it gracefully they got banned.

What a shame, thanks for the info.

if there is a problem with favouritism then maybe its time for a change.

when people are voted to be a mod also give them an application and ask them tough questions then that way you could get to know them better and you could decide if they are mod material or not.

I was a Mod for two days on another board totally unrelated to magick about six years ago,I stepped down after two days.It took a Hobby board and turned it into a very stressful unpaid job
A normally unempty mailbox was now flooded with Tons of complaints
Etc..It's Def not for me.
