Mind Control Spell?

Wow.
And How do you Know that he/she did that? And How Strong can it be if such?

While I do not know how it works/how you could do it, I'm quite sure that it's possible. I used to know this practitioner who would mostly use magic to harm and get whatever she wants. She was close friends with my mom at the time, and my mom would always tell me how for some reason she felt like she had to follow her, help her, etc, all the the time, even though she didn't really want to (she did do it anyway), and about two years later, the practitioner randomly told how she used magic to "control" and "hypnotize" my mom (my mom had never discussed this with anyone besides my aunt and I). My aunt who also knew her claimed she would have those feelings too.

The Closest I could think of is a binding spell... but I really don't know my way around these as I am not practicing. I just studied some theory. But these should work to sort of control someone. Usually it's used to protect yourself or the bound person so that she cannot harm herself or other people

Jeez.
The Story of the practicioneer seems really close to what i'd like to try. Really, that give me so much more hope to get it to work out...

Any other Advice/Recomendation? Or a Spell in itself for me to try?

Besides that, there's not much I know/can say about the topic. :/ But, what I DO know is that that practitioner used magic considered to be in the "dark arts" category for her mind control work.

Well, At least i can search in a specific part of the magic for it, instead of losing my time in the General magic..
