Seriously Need help

Nothing is working unless I'm facing the east/west direction ---is this a bad omem?

I use crystals, candle (make my own)and herbs in my practice. I believe in the powers of the universe, as well as, God as the creator of the universe, I am a heavy meditator, non-demominational practioner.

Nothing is going right in my life and I don't believe it has anything to do with the universal powers that are hindering me.

In my life and even now, I've spirtually traveled around the world, climbed a mountain, crossed a sea and have fallen to to earth many timea unharmed. For over 10 years, I have ridden a red and gold bird (phoenix), the eagle and the dove and can do this effortlesly, without practice (this may have come from my teenage life)

Am I being disillussional? Or is it just meant to be? I need help

I am having problems facing the North direction when practicing. I have more power when facing the east (air) and west (water)-- is this becuse of my dual zodiac sign of a Gemini-Cancer Moon in Cancer, Mercury rising, Sun in Gemini, moon in Venus, etc.

well it isnt a bad omen, it means that these are your points of power. If these are the points you use and find power in them, then stick with them, but do not worry it isnt a bad omen

I find my spells work better when I face West, also. I started casting spells from the West (unknowing that certain spells require certain directions to face)...the spells worked.

I changed my altar to the North and the spells did not work. So now I am back to facing the West.

In the Greater Ritual of The Pentagram you start the ritual facing West. In the Lesser Ritual of the Pentagram you start by facing East. Obviously Aleister Crowley felt as you did :)

traditionally you should face north, but other directions are good for different spells.
