thermokinesis

I am able to conjure heat and pass it onto items such as metal or glass and to some degree air but i'm having trouble holding the heat for little more than a few seconds so if anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

Also if anyone could give any advice on howto intesify it so it could ignite it would be much appreciated. thanks
