so that was a little difficult to read, but what it sounds like is you need too find a nice happy medium beteen the two options.

Or come to the understanding that Catholicism as pagan roots and most of what they do is magical workings in their masses. *Lights candle and prays...then waits for the incense to cleanse the sacred space.
