TheHealer82 is right, that's part of the Catholic Requiem Mass and has been set to music many times (although I do think Mozart did it best LOL).

I guess you COULD use it as a spell if you're a Christian Witch. Maybe to help you mourn or to help a soul to the other side?

In pop culture it's used in Monty Python: Holy Grail when the monks give Arthur the holy hand grenade. Not that you'll ever need to know that or anything.
