How to cast a circle

I am very new to this as in never done anything magical or Goddess oriented before.

I love the night and I guess out of the five elements (though I'm not too sure what spirit is meant to be) I'd say I'm closest to water or maybe air. Basically I'm most relaxed and clear at night in the rain or wind. Preferably rain.

My parents raised me Christian but I grew to hate the whole hypocritical Christian method. How they love their neighbour as themselves and yet can turn on someone who doesn't fit their image of perfect and completely alienate them. So I was atheist until now when Nyx seemed to guide me to this coven I suppose. I seriously don't know how I found this coven it just seemed to come up out of nowhere me looking up Nyx worship.

Anyway I know this is long but now you know my story. My parents are still Christian and although they grudgingly accept me as atheist (while trying to convert me back all they way trying to make me sing happy birthday to Jesus on the 25th with ironically a Yule log cake as his "bday" cake.) So how can I cast a circle or otherwise show Nyx that she is my goddess?

I would like to know the same too. Sorry if me posting doesnt help but i would also like to learn it too. I love the outside so i guess im closest to earth. I wana show Nyx Im hers too. I was a christian now im not. Im Nyx's i would like to learn how long to cast a circle too. If my post does no good i understand.

I am in the same situation as you guys. I have to hide my magic because my parents are christian. I used to be devout but I got sick of my psychic abilities being seen as evil and from the devil. Not to mention I always wondered why I couldn't do certain things and I never got a clear answer. I pretty much have to practice when my parent's aren't home or late at night when they are asleep. I'm an adult and I have to hide it. (Ugh that sounds so pathetic of me.) Anyway... The best advice I can give you is to do it in your bedroom when you have some alone time.
