well i am trying to seperate a witch from his powers since he is abusing them for the wrong purposes

If he is missusing them, then Karma will sort them out :D do not curse people unless you, personally have a reason, personally to curse them

you you know the person he or she is after, cast a protecton spell on them to protect them from the curses.

I'm sorry if this is offenseive but this is my opinion no person has the right to do anything like that to a human being. If he is abusing his powers cast a protection spell like someone else said or just try to point it out to him. If he is doing this he will suffer in the long run. Never try to take the law into your own hands please, just listen to what I am saying. Cursing him will only be bad for you. I think you just need to take a deep breath and think of other options.

I have tried to talk to him but he is consumed with power I just want it to stop. And yes he has hurt me he has burned me multiple times.

I'd just use a retribution spell, something to show him the pain he has caused to you, do this with a somber soul and not a vicious one or the Goddess will find your motives inadiquit and bring your wrath upon you
