And as for your question, Teugene, I don't quite understand what you mean. A wand is simply a tool for the focusing of energy. I can't see any particular reason why this wand would fail at doing so, but the energy comes from you, not the wand.

The fairy aspect of the wand, I believe, merely helps those with an affinity for fae mythology to better use it to channel energy.
