Hi everyone on spellsofmagic.Its me again,grg and I would like to share some information about the three-way-fold.The three-way-fold is a powerful force in the universe and its mostly done with black magick(in most cases).The three-way-fold is very much like karma.The three-way-fold has three parts to it and those parts are:
-Pain
-Suffer
-Death
So lets say you cast a curse on someone to make them suffer,like making them get money stolen from them.After thats done,it will come back at ya and make you suffer the same way.Well thats my opinion on the three-way-fold(I know its short,but I practice white magick most of the time).I would like to hear everyone else opinions to.
Do you mean the three fold law? If so, it's not so much open to interpretation as it is just plain and simple karmic backlash. It's also more of a principle of Wicca, something not everyone believes in.
I believe the three fold law refers to the three aspects of being; mind, body, and spirit. And what you do will be reflected to the area affected. However some say emotional pain outweighs physical, this kind of person would "get it" emotionally instead..
Another theory I hold refers to the three primordials(I refer to them as basic instincts, for lack of better term), who would simply pass judgements based on facts, which helped to explain the awkwardly good luck of "bad" people.. I'm a wreck, I know. :)
Might I please point out that here is no such thing as black or white magic. There is only the intent which makes it what you would think 'black or white.' if you wish good, then it is a good spell. If you wish harm, then it is bad. Apologies if my explanation confused people. Simply put, there's no colored magic.
grg, your touching a dangerous topic here. People on this site have different ideas of Magick and they will say their belief is correct. For example the idea of Black and White magick, some believe it is there and it is important while others don't. When they see it they might stress their ideas much more far than what you have.
The Three-Fold-Law, not to put you out, is when you get what you get. Like if I do something good later on in time that goodness will times by three back to me. If I do something bad like pushed someone off of their bike, then in time that will come back at me three times worse. This isn't limited to magick, but to all of our actions.
Again, some won't believe this because of their own reasons.
