Petraca- For all non-moderators know this. All moderator actions are logged, so any power tripping can be reported to me and I will investigate all accounts. My goal here is to create a fair and open discussion on magic and spell casting, not to prevent anyone from expressing their own personal concerns or questions.
I've been getting complaints about random posts being removed for one reason or another. As you see my quote above....the whole point it to make the forums more appropriate for all ages and members. I'm truely sorry on behalf of some of the other mods on here that I keep receiving complaints about (no names will be mentioned), but this is what is happening....
1.) any posts with a lot of vulgarity (because of children) will be deleted
2.) irrelavent posts (with vulgarity as the main reason for deletion) will be deleted
3.) The bashing (threatening, taunting, verbal abuse) of members, will be deleted
I've personally deleted a few of the older threads that no longer hold relavence, and admit to that. I've also deleted posts that had a large quantity of vulgarity, and posts that were "bashing" members on the site. Those are the 3 things I look at before I delete a post, and I thought EVERY member, young and old, should know my terms. They are very reasonable and should be rather easy to follow. I wanted everyone to know how they were judged, I show no one any special treatment, you are all equal in my eyes. If you have any questions, please PM me or leave them below. Thank you

thank you ver much Silver for posting Petraca's message so that we can all be aware of exactly how to conduct our messages on here. though i personally try to respect all and forgive most....unless they really piss me off.
With all due respect most people I talk to off of the website seem to think Masterme is the unfair moderator and not you Silver. Normally I dislike mentioning names however I feel that since the person is a public moderator it's ok. Power tripping can be reported to Petrarca but I think that if people ask you what went on with their post being deleted and if you think that the person might be correct then I for one would appreciate it if you took it to Petrarca because I only know a few people besides myself and with the posts deleted and no way for us to tell what mod deleted our post we dont have much evidence at all.
I think your rules are fair as well but some of my posts have been deleted without applying to those at all... like on the anubis thread.. and apollos post is nothing but bashing and I dunno if its been deleted yet
all I said was I didn't know who rose was mad at, and then I had a longer post explaining that he could probably use the time away from everyday life to chill and think about stuff.
MaeMae, who ever said Silver was an “unfair” moderator and what right to you have to irrelevantly say I am unfair when that is solely your opinion you’re trying to make a fact. All the posts I have deleted are bashful posts and I am absolutely shocked that some people automatically assume I deleted some posts whereas I didn’t, all the posts I deleted were in violation of the above rules, and obviously my name was in there as an unfair moderator when some members come up on threads calling people liars and exaggerative, what is that classified as? Trust me…take it from me… I don’t have any problem with you and your dealings as long as you don’t intend to harm other members and that’s the best you can get of a member willing to help out the community.
You won’t see me next time involving myself on threads; I will delete a post that commits the infractions of the above without getting involved in the debate, I think this will help me maintain and defend my true integrity and not be subject to heavily personal opinions which are not true.
Mae Mae you have become quite a annoyance of late so leave him alone you cannot do better in your current state now if you could get these people's user names you might have some solid evidence but as of now this seems fraud
I'm not going to namedrop people without reason, also Searune, I really don't care if you think I'm an annoyance. I really don't care what people think in general.
On the DarkAnubis thread, I had made some posts not offending anyone and simply furthering my viewpoint and they were deleted. Whoever deleted THOSE posts made what is in my opinion a faulty decision. I assumed it was masterme because he was also deleting posts on that thread at the time, made by Trav, and yes those DID need to be deleted because sorry Trav but you were being kinda harsh and you know it.
Now Masterme has taken the immature route and isn't deleting ANY posts as he said in another thread so he may as well not be a moderator. Like when my grandpa gets mad and says he's gonna stop cooking or whatever because he doesn't think we appreciate it. It's immature and its not conduct that should be expected of a moderator.
Masterme knows what other issues I have had with him and they are as far as I am concerned resolved because he removed the posts however he got angry with me and requested that I no longer PM him so of course he wouldnt know.
There are 30 moderators on this forum. I have noticed bout 5, I have especially noticed me silver, radicalz, lady oblivion, and I am one of the more active members/moderators here, strict by nature but in no way hostile so it is not surprising that my name would be involved or I would be mistaken for lost posts, those people who automatically assume I deleted their post(s) should confirm with me, I am definitely not a liar I would tell you if I did delete it and why, don’t go around reporting me out of anger, confirm with me first. My human nature shouldn’t have anything to do with how I maintain myself and it doesn’t, I have high morals and I work out stuff before I take action.
