Ok, so I keep hearing that if your gay and you do a love spell on someone who is straight. I want to beleive it is true. Everyone I ask says it works that way. But please post your thoughts or answers on here. Thank you.
Forcing love to bloom is sometimes a bad idea. The flower is best when it opens its own bud naturally, but one that is forced open often dies quickly, or is damaged.
No matter what peoples sexuality, the truth of who they are comes into being when it is meant to be. Attempting to alter someone to a sexuality which is not in their nature is like trying to get a baby to eat something it does not like, you will meet powerful resistance.
If I understand correctly, you just can't turn someone gay if there isn't even an inkling within them or vice versa. It is messing with free will, basically.
It is possible. It is very difficult. I don't recommend it, because for the entire time the spell is in effect, the person will feel...wrong.
It's like when gay people pretend to be straight for societal reasons. It feels wrong. The difference is, when a gay is pretending to be straight...that's their CHOICE.
Casting a love spell on someone is robbing them of their choice. It's like slipping someone a date rape drug, only much worse. It only ends badly. I've never seen it end well (and I've seen a LOT of these)
Better to cast a spell on YOURSELF to BRING love to YOU. Don't target someone specific with it. Cast a spell to bring you YOUR true love. Maybe it's someone you didn't expect, but that isn't a bad thing. That is the only way to do a love spell without messing with free will. Those kinds of spells are easy and work well.
Why do something cruel, evil and difficult when you can get BETTER results with something easy, fun and kind? Try my idea if you want love to come to you. If you need help writing the spell, message me.

PS I'm speaking from personal experience here, not morality. Anyone who wants to complain about me talking morality in a magick site can just go away. I'm talking about what actually WILL happen, whether you believe it to be wrong or not. Having seen many people try this (at least 5 that I can think of...but there are more that I'm forgetting), I can tell you that those kind of love spells never end well.
I agree 100% with Sarafiel, Robbing someone of their free will is a gross violation of the witch's rede and the ethics we try to uphold. I would not want to be the that person because if the spell is broken and he knows it was you he could physically hurt or even do something to cause your death, remember people do not like being played with, if some one did that to me I would definitely go for my book of shadows and get out the nasty dark stuff which I would normally never use. I hope you get the message and leave well enough alone.I state it this way as a warning not to mess with someones free will.

ok, so that's really sounds like toying with free will. logically speaking, if the desire is strong enough in the caster, and said caster tries to advance the friendship, it would work, but i doubt it would be a permanent thing. free will is funny that way. [or if you want scientifically, the brain is wired differently, so while every ones gay to some extent, you'll be more attracted to one gender far more than the other.]
