Anything claiming to turn you into anything other than human
Such as vampires and est.
Anything claiming to give you control over the elements
Such as creating fire balls and such
Anything that defies the law of physics
Such as levitating objects or yourself and est.

Pretty much anything that defies natural laws, goes against science and physics, claims the impossible such as some of what was listed above and otherwise doesn't use common sense and logic.

Remember to use common sense, intelligence, and maturity when looking at a spell. There are many factors that go into whether or not a spell is going to work. Even ones that are for realistic outcomes may be made up in the sense that the actions for the spell or ritual are absurd and would not result in the desired outcome. .

Jacubs is correct. magic is energy and can't go against scientific facts. also, it should be pointed out that just because something like a luck spell is possible, it doesn't mean the spell you use is. the person who made it might of made it to work best for them, or it might never of worked. depending on the spell, meaning faierie, dragon, mermaid, stuff like that. those might work also. if it's a spell that calls upon the aid of these beings, like a dragon wealth spell or a faerie protection spell, or even a mermaid beauty spell, those things can work, it's only when you mean to turn into one or something that you run into a brick wall.
